Lois Ann Scott of Kistler, W. Va. passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010, at the Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. She was 68.

Born on Dec. 23, 1941, in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Letha Dalton Scott.

She is survived by son Barry Scott of Michigan City; sisters Jeanette Schnadenberg of Chesterton and Barbara Kukulies of Valparaiso; brother Steve Scott of Kistler; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Claudine Scott and Edith Scott and brothers Willard Scott and Kenard Scott.

Lois was retired from Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, where she worked in the Environmental Services Depart-ment. She was a Christian and a member of Bethel Tabernacle at Lorado.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Tabernacle at Davy Hollow, Lorado with Rev. Rodney Robinette officiating. The remains have been cremated.
