Klaus E. Krutzikowsky of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Chiefland, Fla., died March
25, 2010 in Chiefland. He was 77.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1933 in Chicago, Ill. to George and Hildegard
Krutzikowsky. He is survived by children Kira (husband Paul) Geiss of
Porter; Gregory (wife Vicki) Krutzikowsky of Newport, Ore.; Douglas (Kim)
Krutzikowsky of Santa Cruz, Calif.; grandchildren Hannah and Robert Geiss of
Porter and Ronan, Nikolai, and Merak Krutzikowsky of Newport; the mother of
his children, Betty Kay, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; sisters Ruth (Herbert)
Schmidt of Sparkhill, N.Y. and Jeanne (William) Sames of Hudson, Wis.; and
brother Gunther (Marily) Krutzikowsky of Cedar Key, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hildegard Krutzikowsky;
brothers George and Heinz Krutzikowsky; and nephew Christopher Schmidt.
Klaus served his country and learned to fly airplanes in the U.S. Air Force.
A true entrepreneur, Klaus founded and was President of American Sterling
Enterprises.
