Former Porter resident Harvey L. Paul of Fenley, Nevada passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. He was 87.

Born Feb. 4, 1923 in Ashland, Ore., he was the son of Frederick D. and Nora V. (Morton) Paul.

He is survived by sons W. LaVerne Paul of Dublin, Ireland and Jack D. (wife Susanna) Paul of Fenley; grandchildren Eddie, John, James, Melissa, Spencer, Amanda and Patrick; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris E. Paul, and son Harvey L. Paul.

He was a retired carpenter.

Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
