Connie B. Coulter of Chesterton passed away July 1, 2010 with her family at
her side. She was 57.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Thomas H. Coulter II; children
Mary Alice LeDoux and Elizabeth Ann Hough (husband James); and grandchildren
Alexandria Marie, Thomas James, and Nathan Gregory, of St. Louis, Mo.; and
many friends.
Born in Pittsburgh, Penn., she was very active with the Fox Chapel Episcopal
Church in Pittsburgh, where she grew up. She had a gift in her smile and
will be remembered most for changing the lives of all whose hearts she has
touched. There were many smiles and much laughter throughout her life, but
then sadness came when Connie endured a long battle with lupus. Her long
suffering never changed the way she smiled and gave to others, and this is
the way Connie will be remembered.
A small family memorial service will be held in the Coulter home in
Chesterton on Sunday, July 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. Another service will be held
at the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church in Pennsylvania next summer.
