Virginia Jo “Jennie” Caddo, age 78, of Chesterton, passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at the Arbors Health Campus in Michigan City. 

She was born on October 25, 1930 in Phillippy, Tenn. to Milose and Katherine (Griffey) Pugh, both of whom preceded her in death. 

She is survived by a son, Chester Lee Roney; a daughter, Shirley Ruth Griffey; a sister, Monita P. Williams of Chesterton, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband Jim Caddo; twin brother James Edward Pugh and two sisters, Rosie and Helen. 

Jennie was a bench worker at Swiss Control Research and loved to dance.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 2, at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery. 

A visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to the hospice nurses of St. Anthony’s especially Teresa, Crystal and Cindy. www.ee-fh.com
