Chesterton resident Paul Biddle, 81, died Sunday, July 5, 2009, in
Chesterton.
He was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Aetna, Ind., the son of Walter and Vine
(Summers) Biddle, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons, Dean (Penny) Biddle and Bobby Biddle, both of
Chesterton; a daughter, Marilyn Heath (companion Tracy Dines) of Chesterton;
five grandchildren, Dale, Scott, Brittney, Brandon, and Bryce; and four
great-grandchildren, Dylan, Samantha, Alyssa, and Jennie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, in 1992; a brother, James;
and sisters Elsie Biddle, Goldie Bedenkop, and Lena Timberlake.
Paul worked as an electrician at Midwest Steel before retiring in 1992. He
served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Chesterton Moose Lodge, the
Chesterton American Legion, and the Porter VFW.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Edmonds &
Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway in Chesterton, with interment at Chesterton
Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Edmonds & Evans.
