Sarah Jane Green, age 80 of Chesterton, passed away on Thursday, August 13,
2009 in Valparaiso.
She was born on March 25, 1929 in Whiting, the daughter of Richard L. and
Catherine B. (McHale) Green, both of whom preceded her in death.
Sarah is survived by her cousins, Norman (Linda) McCorkel of Coldwater,
Mich. and Harold (Marilyn) McCorkel of North Judson.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard James Green.
Sarah was a lifelong area resident.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 17 at noon at Edmonds & Evans
Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Interment will follow at Chesterton
Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17 from 10 a.m. until the time of
