Pamela N. Hawkins, 51, of Chesterton, passed away unexpectedly July 31, 2009.

She is survived by her husband William “Jim” Hawkins; children Benjamin, Zachary and Megan; father, Jay (Nelva) Cunningham; sisters, Karen (Joel) Kirby, Melinda Graham and Lisa Strecker; sisters/brothers-in-law, Kathy Hawkins, Nancy (Dennis) Johnson, Daniel (Denise) Hawkins and John (Deanna) Hawkins; 14 nieces/nephews; close family friends Shana Holder and Joe Pankiewicz; her two loyal buddies always by her side, Molly and Duke, and numerous loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Cunningham.

As a Navy wife, Pam devoted her life to her husband and her children. She was her children’s biggest fan in sports, theater and life in general. She will be remembered for her smile, her laughter and her love of all her family and friends.

A funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Friday, August 7 with visitation from noon until 5 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second Street, Chesterton.
