Mary Anna Park service set

Mary Anna “Mary” Park of Walnut Hills Retirement Community, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009 at Pomerene Memorial Hospital. She was 84.

Born on May 1, 1925 in Anson, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Louella (Price) Lindsey. She was a member of Liberty Bible Church in Liberty Township until she and her husband retired to Missouri, where she attended the First Baptist Church of Anderson. She was currently attending the Alpine Bible Church at Sugarcreek, Ohio.

On Dec. 16, 1945, she married Clifford D. Park, who died in September of 2006. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Homan (husband Larrie) of British Columbia, Canada, Marilyn Stewart (Byron) of Sugarcreek, Nancy Redd of Sicero, Ind.; grandchildren Amanda Sandiford (Jay), Phillip Stewart (wife Ashley), Matthew Willey (Melinda), Kimm Willey; and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded by her sisters Elizabeth and Ruth.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek with Pastor Byron Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Steppin’ Out Missions, 719 Dutch Valley Drive, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
