Gertrude F. (Mazur) Harrison, 79, passed away January 27, 2009 at home in
Jackson Twp. after a long illness.
She was born in Chicago on November 15, 1929.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John.
She is also survived by children, John Jr., Joseph, Gregory and Mary. She is
also survived by a sister, Dorothy and many cousins.
She was a loving mother, homemaker and loved to cook. She was a founding
member of the Jackson Hilltoppers Women’s Club.
Services were held in Illinois and interment was at St. Casimire Cemetery in
Chicago.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation or St.
Paul’s Catholic Church in Valparaiso.
