Porter resident Claudia Smith-Miller, 67, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at home
after a long illness.
She is survived by her children, Wendy Smith-Haas, Connie Smith (Bara Sarraj),
and Colin Smith (Michelle); her first husband, Jack R. Smith; her sister,
Marilyn Meyne (Terry); a grandchild, Cole Smith; and many nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller; her parents, Arthur
and Anna Blackard; and brothers William and Frank.
A private service will be held for the family.
Memorials may be made to the Indiana Save the Dunes Council.
