Virginia Lillian Sprague, of Valparaiso, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed
away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at Sterling House. She was 82.
She was born May 1, 1925 in Yonkers, N.Y., the daughter of Paul C. and Myrtle
(Marshall) Vogel.
On June 15, 1946 in New York, she married Reid Gilmore Sprague, who preceded
her in death in 1997.
She is survived by four sons, R. Christian Sprague of Chesterton, Gary Ronald
Sprague of S.C., Joel Peter Sprague of N.Y., Glenn Marshall Sprague of Pa.; a
sister, Dorothy Brandenstein of Ga., eight grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Yonkers High School.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a private family service will be
held for interment of ashes on the family plot in Northeast, Pa.
