Troy D. Wright of Chesterton, formerly of Portage, died suddenly Monday January 28, 2007. He was 32.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Spenner, grandfathers, Bill Reid and Bud Higgins.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel; daughter Alexis and son, Austyn; sisters Kristie Wright and Stephanie (John) Richey; in-laws, Doug and Dana Redelman and Susan Redelman; sisters-in-law, Erica, Jennifer and Noelle; brother-in-law, Alex; nieces and nephews, Tristin and Madeline Roy, Emily Torres and Hannah Richey; grandmother Shirley Higgins; father, Donald Wright and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and a large extended family including Micha and Michael.

Troy’s smile, sense of humor and loving heart will be missed.

A private funeral service took place on Friday Feb. 1 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home 517 Broadway, Chesterton, with cremation following at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at a later date.
