Stephen F. Costello Sr., of Porter, passed away at his residence on Saturday April 5, 2008. He was 50. He was born on March 19, 1958 the son of Peter and Nancy (Stephens) Costello in Marion, Ind. He is survived by his mother Nancy Costello of Chesterton. His father Peter Costello preceded him in death. He is survived also by children, Stephen F. Costello Jr. of Wanatah, and Amanda M. Costello (Derek Dodd) of Chesterton; a brother, David Michael Shank of Chesterton; sisters Nancy (Michael) Martin of Silver Lake, Beverly Costello, of Kokomo, Jodi (Glen) Betterton of Chesterton, Brenda (Pat) Kleihege, of Chesterton; grandchild, Riley M. Dodd; ex-wife, Tina Marie (Jay) Wright and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, Matthew Costello and a sister, Billie Jean Donovan. He worked at Gary Screw and Bolt Company as a Mechanic Supervisor. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday April 10 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage. A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday April 9 at the funeral home.
