Ottie F. Wordelman dies at 85

Ottie F. Wordelman, of DeLand, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008. She was 85.

She was born in Arkadelphia, Ark. and moved to DeLand in 1997 from Chesterton, Ind.

She is survived by her husband, Milton J. Wordelman of Deland.

She is also survived by two sons, Terry Lawnicki of Ponce Inlet, Fla. and Ted Lawnicki of Chesterton; two sisters, Ocie Powell of Hot Springs, Ark and Imogene Calvisi of Melbourne, Fla.; one brother, William Powell of Modesto, Calif.; three stepsons, Mark Wordelman of Mokena, Ill., Bryan Wordelman of Oak Lawn, Ill. and Gary Wordelman of Forest Hill, Calif. and 10 grandchildren.

Ottie was a homemaker and was a member of the DeLand Shuffleboard Club and the Pinochle Club in Deland and Orange City, Fla.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 20. Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
