Michel Joseph Granger, of Plover, Wis., formerly of Chesterton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. He was 48.

He was born Feb. 12, 1960 in Montreal, Canada, the son of Denis and Lola (Cormier) Granger, both of whom survive in Knox.

He is also survived by siblings, Linda Williams of Knox, Pierre Granger of Virginia Beach, Va. and Chantel Granger of New York.

Michel was a 1979 graduate of Chesterton High School and an avid outdoorsman.

Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox.

Memorials to the Catholic Charities would be appreciated by the family.

M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox is in charge of arrangements.
