Mary A. Tucker, of Chesterton, passed away Monday evening, September 29, 2008 at Regency Hospital, Portage. She was 61.

She was born June 29, 1947 in East Chicago, Ind., the daughter of Arthur Maynard and Viola Revenock, both of whom preceded her in death.

On October 29, 1965 in Crown Point, she married Cecil D. Tucker, who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by children, Michael (Lynnette) Tucker of Michigan City; Michelle (Scott) Pendleton, of Chesterton; David (Donna) Tucker, of Chesterton; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, Brianna, Clay, Wyatt, Samuel and Dylan; a sister, Barbara Fieldhouse, of Schererville; two brothers, James (Penny) Maynard, of Gary and Richard Maynard, of Lake County.

Mary was a homemaker, a member of AARP and her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, arts and crafts and cooking.

Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at White-Love Funeral Home.
