Margaret H. Lewis, of Westerville, Ohio, former long-time Chesterton resident, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, at home. She was 85.

She was born Sept. 18, 1922 in New Bedford, Mass., the daughter of Harry and Irene (Wiesemann) Nash, both of whom preceded her in death.

Her husband, Raymond W. Lewis also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn L. Kilbourn of Westerville, Ohio; a son, Dwight W. (Joanne) Lewis of Chesterton; grandchildren, Christopher F. Kilbourn, Cassy K. Kolb, Timothy, Todd, Sean and Heather Lewis and five great-grandchildren.

Margaret was a 1941 graduate of Chesterton High School. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in New Albany, Ohio and St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton. She was also a member and Past President of the 32nd Club of San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services, Fr. James Meade officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Entombment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at White-Love Funeral Home.
