Kathy Lynn Paulus dies at 61

Kathy Lynn Paulus, of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. She was 61.

She was born Jan. 30, 1947 in South Bend, the daughter of Charles W. and Mary E. (Ferguson) Colpitts, both of whom preceded her in death.

On Nov. 24, 1965 in St. Joseph, Mich., she married William J. Paulus, who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by a daughter, Mary (fiancé Jerry) Paulus, of Chesterton; a son, Peter (Jennifer) Paulus, of Valparaiso; three grandchildren, Tailor, Tyler and Samantha, all of Valparaiso; a brother, Charles (Linda) Colpitts, of Stevensville, Mich.; one niece, four nephews and numerous cousins.

Kathy lived for her family, her grandchildren and Notre Dame Football all her life, and she never missed watching a game. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Thursday, June 26 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. The memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Annette Hodge officiating at White-Love Funeral Home. Cremation will precede the service.
