Jack Thomas Schroeder, of Florence, Mont., formerly of Valaraiso, passed away
at his home, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007. He was 54.
He was born Oct. 28, 1953 in Valpariso, the son of Richard and Joan (Pierce)
Schroeder, both of whom survive in Valparaiso.
He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica (Archie) Ioannides of Idaho
Falls; two sons, Jake and Jared Schroeder of Florence, Mont.; two
grandchildren, Isabella and Brackyn Ioannides; three brothers and sister, Roy
(Lori) Schroeder of Valparaiso, Nancy (David) Crume of Carmel, Ind., Rex
(Boo) Schroeder of Valparaiso, Paul (Keli) Schroeder of Newbury Park, Calif.
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack graduated from Chesterton High School. He was a carpenter and worked for
Schultz Construction. He loved animals and plants, and never met a man he did
not like, nor a man that did not like him. He was a loving son and brother
and a devoted father and grandfather.
A memorial service, Rev. David Kovalow-St. John officiating, will be at 10:30
a.m. Saturday, May 10 at the First Christian Church, DOC, 1507 Glendale
Boulevard, Valparaiso.
