Estel Lee Simpson, of Chesterton, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008. He was 40.

He was born April 24, 1968, the son of Carol and Sally (Slayten) Simpson.

On Nov. 17, 2006, he married Heather Odle, who survives in Chesterton.

He is also survived by four children, Chet Simpson, Mikey Simpson, Evan Simpson and Zachary Simpson, all of Chesterton; his father, Carol Simpson of Ark.; his mother, Sally Powers, of Ark.; a brother, Mike Simpson, of Tenn. and a sister, Cheri Godfrey, of Ark.

Lee was a US Army Veteran and a L.P.N.

Funeral services, Pastor Mike Eddy officiating, will be at noon, Friday, May 2 at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St., Valparaiso. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the family to set up a fund for his children.
