Clara A. Mason, 82, of Chesterton, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 in Valparaiso.

She was born October 29, 1925 in Valparaiso the daughter of Frank and Mabel (Rasmussen) McMeans, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was married to William B. Mason, who preceded her in death in 1983.

Clara is survived by a son, William (Nancy) Mason of Chesterton; a daughter, Cheryl (Gil) Strohm of Michigan and grandchildren, Bryan Mason, Garrett Mason, Grant Mason and Tia Strohm.

She was also preceded in death by sons, David Mason and Ronald Mason and grandchildren, Craig Mason and Kimberly Mason.

Clara was a lifelong area resident.

As per Clara’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.

Memorials may be sent to the Visiting Nurse Association.
