Aaron Steven Mullican, of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at
University of Chicago, Comer Children’s Hospital, after a long, long battle
with Leukemia. He was 15.
He was born Feb. 21, 1993 in Michigan City, the son of Keith A. Mullican, who
survives in Chesterton and Nancy M. (Barnes) Mullican, who survives in
Valparaiso.
He is also survived by brothers Brandon H. Mullican and Justin K. Mullican,
both of Chesterton; a sister, Kelsee M. Mullican, of Valparaiso; paternal
grandparents, Harold and Marian Mullican of Chesterton; maternal grandmother,
Marilyn Vratsolis of Louisville, Ky.; paternal great-grandmother, Lorene
Mullican, Morrison, Tenn.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aaron attended Duneland Schools and was an unbelievable animal lover who
enjoyed fishing. Aaron was a young Christian man who lived his love of Jesus
Christ and was a positive example to all he met, especially during his
numerous hospitalizations. His legacy of Christian love shall be long
remembered.
Funeral services, Pastor James C. Mills officiating, will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday, April 12 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at White-Love Funeral
Home.
Memorials in Aaron’s memory may be given to the family.
