Wendlyn Sue Jackson dies at 50

Wendlyn Sue Jackson, of Chesterton, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at her home. She was 50.

She was born April 21, 1958 in Valparaiso, the daughter of John W. Staff (Dorothy), who survives in Kingsbury and Jean Boi Alexander, who survives in Chesterton.

She is survived by three sons, Eric Davis, Rex Jackson, and Tyrone Jackson all of Michigan; a daughter, Misty Jackson, of Michigan; two grandchildren, Novalee Jackson and Keirsten Reneé Jolly; two brothers, John (Dawn) Staff and Christopher Staff, both of Chesterton; four sisters, Kimberly Staff, of Chesterton, Pamela Staff and Brenda Staff of Hobart, and Debra Staff of Chesterton.

Wendy enjoyed cross-stitching, crafts, crocheting and puzzles. She was an avid reader.

A celebration of Wendy’s life, Pastor Robert Hamilton officiating, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at the VFW Hall Post 2511, 1390 Wagner Road, Porter.

Memorials may be given to the family.
