William Doyle, 83, a Liberty Twp. Resident since 1972, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at his home.

He was born March 8, 1924 in County Kerry, Ireland, the son of William and Ellen (Buckley) Doyle, both of whom preceded him in death.

On July 28, 1956 in Ireland, he married Catherine O’Connor, who survives.

He is also survived by six children, Ann (Randy) Gulley of Valparaiso, Ellen Doyle of Chesterton, Bill (Mary) Doyle of Westville, John (Rhonda) Doyle of Chesterton, Margaret (Gene) Anderson of Goodman, Mo., Theresa (Joe) Gaines of Valparaiso; a brother, Michael Doyle of Chicago; a sister, Bridget Doyle of Ireland; eight grandchildren, Shawn and Jeremy Doyle, Eric, Kristin and Jason Gulley, Riley Gaines, Kathi and Steven Anderson and two great-grandchildren, John Gulley and Hanna Rippe.

He was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a private family memorial service will be held Tuesday at Moeller Funeral Home with Fr. Joseph Pawlowski officiating.
