Ronald Gene Havner, of Sharon, Tenn., passed away Saturday, April 15, 2007 at his home. He was 49.

He was born Nov. 9, 1957 in Valparaiso, the son of Jack G. and Shirley A. (Lorenz) Havner of Chesterton.

On Oct. 29, 1988 in Portage, he married Debra G. Sampson, who passed away April 15, 2007.

He is also survived by a brother, Roy (Donna) Havner of Porter; a nephew Jacob and a niece Aryn.

Ron was a truck driver.

Private family graveside services will be held with a memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
