Robert W. Perrine, of Lake Station, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at his
residence. He was 83.
He was born Sept. 2, 1923 in Wheeler, the son of Frank and Blonda (Cottingham)
Perrine, both of whom preceded him in death.
On Dec. 27, 1949 in Valparaiso, he married Bonnie Jean Sauter, who survives
in Lake Station.
He is also survived by two sons, Mike (Leann) Perrine of Burns Harbor and
Stephen (Lynn) Perrine of Valparaiso; six grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.
Robert was Executive Vice President for Indiana Forge & Machine Company. He
drove race cars (stock cars) for over 30 years. He was active with Ship
Shiwana Auctions for the past 20 years.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Perrine.
A Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. Friday July 6, Edmonds & Evans Funeral
Home 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation with interment of ashes Graceland
Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday July 6 from 2 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m.
at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
