Paul Lee Pierce “Leroy,” of Chesterton, passed away Jan. 31, 2007 in Chesterton. He was 65.

He was born Oct. 24, 1941 in Hebron.

He is survived by a son Cary (Shawn) Kroft of Chesterton; a daughter Kelly (Don) Hirsch of Muscatine, Iowa; grandchildren, Alex, Matt, Amanda and Jacob Hirsch of Muscatine, Iowa and Nathan and Johnathon Kroft of Chesterton; life-long friends, Chris, Paula and Lisa Wratten of Chesterton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A small gathering in honor of his life will be held between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Cary’s home, 737 W. Porter Ave., Chesterton. Friends are welcome.
