Marjorie “Grace” Hoople, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday evening, May 13,
2007 at VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso. She was 85.
She was born Jan. 29, 1922 in Liverpool, England the daughter of Edward and
Grace (King) Windsor, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Hoople in Sept. 1984.
She is survived by a daughter Anne VanDenburgh, of Chesterton; three
granddaughters, Stacey (Garry) Paeth, of Michigan City, Jennifer (Doug)
Miller, of Valparaiso and Aimee (Scott) Gilbert, of Valparaiso; four
great-grandchildren, Justin (Rachel) Ward, of Michigan City, Sgt. Robert
Ward, of San Diego, Calif., Amanda Grace Ward, of Michigan City and Gavin
Miller, of Valparaiso. She is also survived by family members residing in
England.
Grace was a home maker.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date. There will be no
visitation. Cremation will be at Calvary Crematory, Portage.
Memorials may be given to VNA Horton Hospice Center, 501 Marquette St.,
Valparaiso, IN 46383.
Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 425 S. 2nd
St., Chesterton.
