Christopher Bradley Peddle dies at 39

Christopher Bradley Peddle, of Chesterton, formerly of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, July 20, 2007.

He was born Oct. 19, 1967 in Valparaiso, the son of Shirley and Cluny Peddle of Valparaiso.

On Oct. 16, 1999 in Hannah, Ind., he married Melissa Riley, who survives in Chesterton.

He is also survived by two sons, Riley McPherson Peddle and Bradley Christopher Peddle; sisters, Laura and Gabrielle Peddle of Indianapolis; brothers, Steven Peddle of Indianapolis and Harvey (Kelly) Peddle of Valparaiso; in-laws, Marilyn Riley of Valparaiso and Jerry (Kim) Riley of Knox; sister-in-law, Jackie (Joseph) Algozine of Valparaiso; brother-in-law, Steven Riley of Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Christopher was a graduate of Valparaiso High School and attended Immanuel Lutheran School. He completed certification from the American Marine Institute, Daytona, Fla. and had worked many years as a skilled certified marine mechanic throughout Northwest Indiana. For the last three years, he owned and serviced all watercraft at Mobile Marine in East Chicago.

A funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3810 Grand Blvd., East Chicago. Cremation will be at Burns Funeral Home Crematory preceding the funeral service.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., Thursday, at the Church.

Contributions may be made in the name of Riley Peddle at any Chase Bank branch.

Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) is in charge of the arrangements (942-1117).
