Charles J Winter, of Divide, Colorado, formerly of Chesterton, passed away March 21, 2007 in Divide. He was 53.

Charlie, (Chumley) was born May 7, 1953. He was the son of Edward C. Winter, who preceded him in death, and Belle (Stewart) Winter, who survives.

He is also survived by his wife, Debbie; two step-daughters, Andrea and Crystal; five brothers, Mike (Sheila) Winter of Prescott Valley, Ariz., John (Pat) Winter of Chesterton, David (Elizabeth) Winter, of Evanston, Ill., Matthew (Barbara) Winter of Tenn., Joe (Nichole) Winter of Canyon Country, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Brooke and Adam Winter of Tenn., Edward Winter of Chesterton, Wesley and Katie Winter of Calif. and Anna Winter of Ill..

Charlie was a Chesterton High School graduate of 1971 and a Chesterton resident for 32 years. He was a contractor for 21 years in Divide, Colorado.

Interment will be on Tuesday March 27 in Mountain Wilderness Memorial Cemetery in Divide, Colo.
