Carol Sechrist Haas, 49, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 1, 2007 after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 23, 1957 in Lakewood, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Pat Sechrist, both of whom survive in Chesterton.

She is also survived by her devoted husband, Michener Riddle Haas of Fairfield, Iowa; a brother, George (Tammy) Sechrist, of Littleton, Colo.; sisters, Barbara (Lee) Cavender of Cleveland Hts., Ohio and Linda (Russ) Bottom of Lincoln, Ill.; and 10 loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are planned for Friday, May 4 through Behne Funeral Home, 303 S. Main, Fairfield, Iowa.
