George W. Billings, of Hebron, passed away Friday, November 9, 2007. He was 78.

On July 1, 1950, he married Nellie White, who survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Thomas (Karen) Billings of Chesterton, and David (Christine) Billings of Boone Grove; two daughters: Patricia (Brian) Defries of Roselawn, and Peggy Balch of Hobart; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

George retired from Bethlehem Steel, Burns Harbor after 23 years.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main, Hebron.
