Michael John Roszkowski, of Portage, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 25, 2006 at Ruth Lilly Hospice Center, Indianapolis. He was 69.

He was born Sept. 14, 1937 in Gary, the son of Michael and Jane (Nadolski) Roszkowski, both of whom preceded him in death, his father in 1977 and his mother in 2002.

He is survived by a brother, Ronald L. Roszkowski, DDS and his wife Linda, of Carmel; two sisters, Barbara Bivens of Safety Harbor, Fla. and Diane Figueroa of Bradenton, Fla.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Grella in 1996.

Michael had been employed with U.S. Steel, Gary Works and Calvary Cemetery in Portage for 30 years.

Private family graveside services will be conducted Saturday morning, Oct. 28 at McCool Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may take the form of Mass offerings or donations to the Ruth Lilly Hospice Center, Indianapolis.
