Valparaiso resident Helen Elizabeth Hoff, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 6, 1914, in Chicago, the daughter of Daniel and Christine (Schoeler) Regan, who preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Huff.

She is survived by a son, Robert (wife Yvonne) Hoff of Valparaiso; a daughter, Helen “Char” Kreewich of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

She was a bookkeeper for Beverly Blood Bank and belonged to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Parish.

No funeral services are scheduled. Cremation will be conducted at Heritage Crematory, with interment of ashes at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville.

Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, 501 Marquette St., Valparaiso, IN 46384.

Arrangements were completed by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway in Chesterton.
