Emilie 'Jean' Kibble dies at 80

Emilie Jean Kibble, “Jean,” of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006 at her residence. She was 80.

She was born Aug. 16, 1926 in Whiting, the daughter of Walter and Marie (Hmrovich) Nallenwag, both of whom preceded her in death.

In Nov. 1952 in Porter, she married William Kibble, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1977.

She is survived by a son, William Kibble of Valparaiso; a daughter, Lori (Thomas) Krysa of Valparaiso and two grandchildren, Jonathon Krysa of Orlando, Fla. and Clint Krysa of Fayette, Iowa.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Cleo Kay.

Jean was a secretary for the Indiana State Police and her love of used and antique furniture led her to working in sales at Just Furniture in Valparaiso. She was active with the Creative Movement exercise group at the Methodist Church in Chesterton and also was very active in American Heart Association fundraisers.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St., Chesterton.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be given to Opportunity Enterprises, 2801 E. Evans, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
