Donald A. Marquardt, 70, formerly of Chesterton, passed away Dec. 10, 2006 in Ky.

He was born Oct. 21, 1936 in Chesterton, the son of George and Harriett Marquardt, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by children, Lynn Clements and Annette Hawes, both of Cedar Lake, Richard Marquardt and Frances Marquardt, both of Ala. and a brother, Robert Marquardt of Vandallia, Ill.

Donald was a graduate of Chesterton High School.

A memorial service will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave. (Route 41), Cedar Lake.
