Audra M. Plinovich dies at 40

Audra M. Plinovich, of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 at VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso. She was 40.

She was born Jan. 16, 1966 in Gary the daughter of John and Celia (Betancourt) Kenney of Portage.

On Nov. 2, 1996 in Hobart she married David R. Plinovich, who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by three daughters, Allison, Jessica and Danielle, at home; a brother, Mark (special friend Tami Rice) Kenney of Chesterton; a niece, Sydney Garland of Portage.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Herlindo and Mary J. Betancourt; paternal grandparents, Edward and Louise Kenney; Uncle Rudy and Aunt Eula Betancourt and cousins Gregory and Danny Betancourt.

Audra was a home maker. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was an assistant Girl Scout Leader.

A Mass of Christian Burial, Fr. James Meade officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 and St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., with a Wake service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.

Memorials may be made to VNA Horton Hospice Center or the Building Fund at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
