Alexander J. Greaves, of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. He was 20.

He was born Dec. 21, 1985 in Munster, the son of Terry and Teresa (Ziemba) Greaves, who survive in Chesterton.

He is also survived by a sister, Audrey Greaves and a brother, Andrew Greaves, both of Chesterton; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John and Lorraine Ziemba; paternal grandfather Donald Greaves and paternal grandmother Violet Greaves.

Alex was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chesterton and attended SELF School in Valparaiso.

A Mass of Christian Burial, Fr. James Meade officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13 at St. Patrick Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton. Cremation at Calvary Crematory, Portage.

The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St. Chesterton. Rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m.

Memorials may be given to SELF School, Valparaiso.
