Timothy J. Woynaroski dies at 58

Timothy J. Woynaroski, of Culver, formerly of Chesterton, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 in Knox, Ind. He was 58.

He was born Aug. 5, 1947 in Hammond, the son of Theodore and Bernice (Kobeszka) Woynaroski, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by a fiancée, Susan McIntyre of Chesterton; a son, Eric Woynaroski of Mo.; a daughter, Amy Woynaroski of Valparaiso; two sisters, Kay (Terry) Nallenweg of Jackson Twp. and Bernie (Don) Bloomquist of Liberty Twp.; three brothers, John (Patricia) Woynaroski of Chesterton, James Woynaroski of Mo. and Ted (Elizabeth) Woynaroski of Ill.; a grandson, Joseph Woynaroski and extended family grandchildren, Jacob Buchanan and Allison Bird.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Ekstrom.

Timothy was a retired paint foreman for E J &E Railroad. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W.

Funeral services, Fr. Kevin McCarthy officiating, will be at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation will follow services at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds & Evans.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
