Thomas A. Ray dies at 50

Thomas A. Ray, of Mishawaka, formerly of Chesterton, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. He was 50.

He was born Dec. 15, 1954 in Valparaiso, the son of Joseph and Ruth (Cunningham) Ray, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by special friend, Marilyn Chrzan of South Bend; a sister, Cathy (Stegart) Crowder of New Carlisle and two brothers, John (Sue) Ray of Chesterton and James (Karen) Ray of Bakerfield, Ohio.

Thomas was a supervisor for The Blue Beacon.

Graveside services to inter ashes, Fr. Terry Bennis officiating, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18 at St. Patrick Cemetery, Chesterton.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
