Steven A. Seigh Sr. dies at 58

Steven A. Seigh Sr., of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at Porter Portage Hospital Campus, Portage. He was 58.

He was born June 23, 1947 in Evansville, the son of the late Edward Seigh and Ruth Pauline Harpe, who survives in Valparaiso.

He is also survived by a son, Steven A. (Lynette) Seigh Jr. of Portage; a daughter, Debra (Eric) Charlson of Porter; a sister, Vicki (Roland “Butch”) Jonas of Valparaiso; five grandchildren, Sadi, Ronnie and Shawn Charlson and Ashley and Zackary Seigh.

He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronald and a brother, Paul Seigh.

Steven was employed as a sales associate retired from Sears. He was a member of Parents Without Partners.

A memorial service, Rev. Terry Rhine officiating, will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. Friday until time of service.
