Raymond D. Dugan dies at 76

Raymond D. Dugan, of Michigan City, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 at 10:45 a.m. in St. Anthony Memorial Health Centers. He was 76.

He was born Sept. 19, 1929 in Clairton, Pa., the son of Charles and Veronica (Klessa) Dugan.

On May 28, 1978, in Michigan City, he married Martha Davis, who survives.

He is also survived by a step-daughter, M. Len (Dan) Studebaker of New Carlisle, Ohio; a step-son, Dennis Cihak of New Carlisle; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Jaskolski of Porter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thomas Dugan.

Raymond retired after 32 years as an electrician for Midwest Steel in Portage. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chesterton and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place. Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
