Mary Jo Musgrave dies at 66

Mary Jo Musgrave, of Valparaiso, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005 in Valparaiso. She was 66.

She was born Feb. 6, 1939 in Hedrick, Ind., the daughter of William Robinson and Ruby Flo (Cole) Miller, both of whom preceded her in death.

On April 9, 1960 in Lowell, she married Richard T. Musgrave, who survives in Valparaiso.

She is also survived by daughters, Glenda (Patty) (Vanderstelt) Musgrave of Valparaiso, Tamela McCombs of Westville and Rose (Richard) Sommers of LaCrosse; a son, Mike Jevicky of Oklahoma; grandsons, Michael Anthony McCombs of Hobart and Steven, Charles and Robert Vanderstelt of Valparaiso; four brothers, Merrill (Imelda) Miller of Lowell, Stanley Miller of Nocoolaches, Texas, James Miller of Sullivan, Rex (Georgia) Miller of Hobart; a sister, Nancy Hatch of Merrillville; brothers- and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Weaver, Francis Hines, Beatrice Befort, Nadine Singleton, Fern Goodwine, Martha Ann Miller, Roscoe Miller, Warren Miller, Wayne Miller and Daniel Lee Miller.

Mary was a member of Faith Mission Church. She was care giver and mother to all who met her. She enjoyed painting and gave faith, courage, comfort and love and strength to all she knew.

Funeral services, Rev. William Kenneth Dishman officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at White-Love Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Glenda Musgrave in Memory of her mother Mary Musgrave.
