Jennie V. Heath dies at 73

Jennie V. Heath, of Potterstown Road, Midway, Tenn., died Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2005 at her home. She was 73.

She was born in Watkinsville, Ga.

On May 24, 1947 in North Vernon, Ind., she married Eddie J. Heath, who preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 1999.

Mrs. Heath had lived with her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Carrie Heath for the past 18 years. In 1997 they moved to Tenn. from Portage to live.

In addition to her son and daughter-in-law, she is survived by four daughters, Linda K. (Edward) Schmidt of Chesterton, Mayetta Morrow (Jim Davis) of Wheatfield, Ginger F. Parton of Hobe Sound, Fla. and Betty J. (Robert) Sapien of Vassar, Mich.; two sons, Eddie R. (Cheryl) Heath of DeMotte, and Butch J. Heath (Diane Maza) of Valparaiso; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary E. Hamilton of Schererville and Janet Smith of Indianapolis and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her mother and father; one son, Dale Heath and a granddaughter, T.J. Sapien.

Funeral services, Rev. Jerry Ketron officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home, 125 Idletime Dr., Greeneville, TN 37743. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
