Nicole Marie Healy, 25, of Valparaiso, died Dec. 22, 2004 at Porter Hospital
in Valparaiso as the result of an auto accident.
She was born Oct. 24, 1979 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Martin W. Healy
III and Cynthia Blakely. She graduated from Portage High School and had
worked as a housekeeper.
She is survived by her parents Cynthia (Ronald) Thoreson of Valparaiso and
Martin W. Healy, III of Hobart, one brother, Martin W. (Melissa) Healy IV of
Valparaiso, step-brothers, Ronald J. Thoreson, Jr., Elmer Thoreson; a
step-sister, Jody C. (Richard) Bailey all of Valparaiso; grandparents, Joyce
Blakely of Chesterton, Martin W. (Joanna) Healy, Jr. of Hobart, Larry
(Judith) Wright of Valparaiso; a great-grandmother, Lucille Blakely of
Michigan City; three nieces, Brooke & Madison Healy and Grace Bailey; a
nephew, Nathan Bailey, aunts and uncles, Gregory (Joy) Blakely, Scott
Blakely, Todd (Karen) Blakely, Timothy (Julie) Blakely, Dale (Connie)
Eenigenburg, Michael S. Healy and Patti Stutler and numerous cousins, great
aunts and great uncles.
She was preceded in death by an uncle, Patrick Healy; a grandfather, Robert
Blakely and great-grandmother, Pearl Bishop.
Funeral services, Pastor Larry Hammer officiating, were at 10 a.m. Monday,
Dec. 27 at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Interment will be at Chesterton
Cemetery.
Visitation was 2-6 p.m., Sunday at Moeller Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Porter County Animal Shelter.
