The daughter-in-law of Chesterton residents, Mary Ellen (Lang) Kerr, of Fallbrook, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 in Fallbrook. She was 51.

She was born Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1953.

She is survived by her husband John H. Kerr, formerly of Chesterton, two children, Katie and J.T. Kerr all of Fallbrook; her father Thomas P. Lang Sr. and a brother, Thomas Lang, Jr., both of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Ann Newcomb of Atlanta, Ga.; and father- and mother-in-law, John and Nancy Kerr of Chesterton.

She was a graduate of the University of Florida and was a member of Tri-Delta Sorority.

A memorial service is scheduled Friday in Fallbrook.
