The mother of a Chesterton resident, Martha W. Barry, of Michigan City, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 at Whispering Pines Health Care Center. She was 84.

She was born Feb. 22, 1920 in White Haven, Pa., the daughter of Nicholas and Hannah (Burger) Dotter, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was married in White Haven, Pa. to Harold Barry, who preceded her in death in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Drew (Susan) Barry, of Chesterton and two grandchildren, Seth Barry and Gage Barry.

She was a home maker and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Michigan City.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation will be at Calvary Crematory, Portage.

Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
