Kerry P. Kring, of Valparaiso, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus. He was 62.

He was born March 17, 1942 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of Morgan and Mavis (Herron) Kring, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by a sister, Polly Virden of Chesterton; a niece, Lori (Jeff) Harris of Westville; two nephews, Van Virden and Lee (Janice) Virden of Chesterton and five great nieces and nephews.

He was employed as a restaurant waiter/busboy. He was an avid bowler at Inmans in Valparaiso.

There will be no services. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Arrangements were under the direction of Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Chesterton.
