Gail Earline Clark dies at 87

Gail Earline Clark, 87, formerly of Chesterton, died Oct. 26, 2004.

She was born Oct. 3, 1917 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and grew up in Kansas and Missouri where she married George A. Clark in 1936.

She is survived by daughters, Jane Clark, Kathy Clark and Diane Clark VanVliet, all of Henderson, Nev.; a son-in-law, Dale VanVliet of Henderson; a grandson Dale N, (Marilyn) VanVliet of Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Alex, Angel and Miranda VanVliet of Henderson; a great, great-grandson, Elias of Henderson; a brother, Glyn Albertson of Kan.; a sister, Wilma Latherom of Kan.; many nieces, nephews and friends from all over.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jo.

She and her husband lived many years in Chesterton, where George worked in the steel industry. She taught or helped with Sunday School and Bible school for many years. She was never too busy to be nice to everyone, no matter if they were five years old or 90 years old.
